My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WILLOW is a 1 year old beauty. It is impossible not to smile when you see her happy face. She is gets along with other dogs big and small. She is comfortable at the dog park, but doesn't engage in rough housing...she would rather stroll around and enjoy the fresh air. She enjoys walks and the park but is not a high energy dog. WILLOW rides well in the car, is crate trained, and house trained! She is shy when strangers first come over, but will come out to sweetly greet them after a little while. WILLOW has been kind to the children she has met while out in public, however no children live in her foster home. An extremely loud and busy household is probably not the ideal happy place for this peace loving girl. She bonds extremely quickly to her caretaker and will be a devoted lifetime companion for her forever 'person."

WILLOW is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her adoption fee of $300 includes transport to Nashville.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
