Meet Bogart who was rescued from the feral barn at a shelter, but is not feral. This chatty talkative boy is looking for someone to keep up with his conversation and just listen to all he has to share. He is a real affectionate and ever so sweet boy. You should request a meeting to have a heart to heart and maybe take him home.
As of fall 2016, he's 2 years old. He has FIV. Luckily for this amazing boy, we don't automatically euthanize FIV+ kitties like him. It's not their fault! They're still worthy and deserving of homes, and they'll lead long, beautiful lives!
[Generally there are NO extra costs for an FIV+ kitty any more than a kitty without it. They lead normal, healthy lives. However, you must keep them indoors ONLY as there is risk of secondary infection (or infecting others) in a cat fight. Otherwise - they're the same.]
Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays and Sundays during adoption event hours -- see our website for hours), but YOU MUST email or call first so we can make sure kitty will be there so you won't be disappointed: firstname.lastname@example.org, (707) 258-2287.
Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information at http://whiskerstailsandferals.org/.
