Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kiddo wants to be your (and your dog’s) best friend. His favorite place to be is wherever you (and your dog) are.
Kiddo loves to get attention from his people. Want to rub his head and scratch his shoulders while you hang out? You got it. Want some company while you do housework? He’ll be there to “help.” Need a nap? He’ll join you.
Kiddo loves to play with the resident beagle (a 9-year-old female) in his foster home. He’d be very happy with another energetic, playful dog about his size to chase and run with. He has excellent play manners and will back off if the other dog is tired or not interested.
He also lives with four cats. He’s not at all aggressive toward them, but he’d do best in a home without cats. He’s just too enthusiastically interested for his own good – he’ll stare and bay at them until he gets swatted.
Kiddo is housebroken and does not need a crate. He behaves himself when he’s on his own, and doesn’t chew things, break into cabinets looking for food, or make a mess. He's good on leash - his beagle nose means he's easily distracted by interesting (or awful) smells, but it's easy to get his attention back. He’s a quiet boy until he gets excited, and then he has an impressive vocabulary of beagle sounds.
