Frau Blucher's Story...
Hello my name is Frau Blucher, and I am 3 months old. I am a sweet girl that loves to learn new things. I was brought in as an owner surrender with 3 sisters and 1 brother, but only me and one other sister are left. Adoptions are on a first-come first-serve basis for approved applications at the shelter. I am a fairly relaxed girl but I will get BIG so my new home should be prepared for that, as well as be familiar with working breed dogs because we can be a handful :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frau Blucher, a South Haven German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in South Haven, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
