Miley's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Miley's Story...
My name's Miley, and I'm a 5 year old pit bull. I would love nothing more than to find a loving family to give me a new home. I'm a very sweet girl, and I don't understand why I'm at the shelter and what happened to my family. When visitors come to the shelter I sit quietly in my pen, waiting for that special someone to ask to meet me. Could YOU be the one I'm waiting for??

I am up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and also have a microchip. I would do well in a home with other dogs and cats, and I also like kids. The people here at the shelter are nice, but I really miss being in a home and having a family to love and care for me.

Do you have room in your heart for a sweet and gentle soul like me? The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit me... I'll be waiting!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miley, a Youngwood Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
