My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEMO is hoping that we are successful at FINDING him a good forever home! He is an adorable 3 year old brindle and white staffie mix. He was picked up as a stray in Rives, TN, along with pal, Nina. Nina found a great home, so now it is Nemo's turn. This handsome boy is fully vetted and ready for adoption. Nemo loves to cuddle and is the sweetest baby you will ever meet. His foster reported on a recent vet visit saying he actually sat on the table and waited calmly for the vet to give him a check up. Everyone at the office was impressed with his good behavior. She also says that Nemo is super smart, very loving, extremely patient, and will make a great companion for some lucky family. He gets along well with his canine friends and is especially popular with the female dogs at his foster home. He passed his cat scan. He was interested in the foster's cat when they met but his attention was easily distracted. He might need to be taught to be gentle if there is a cat inside the home, but he showed no aggression. He is current on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He tested negative for heartworm. He weighs around 40 pounds. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Nemo if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)3 non-profit rescue to cover part of the cost of the veterinary care he has received and a microchip.
