Mandy's Story...
MANDY is a lovable 3 year old tan staffie sweetheart who might be part Shar Pei. She loves to give hugs. She walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs. This sweet girl weighs 53 pounds. She has been vetted, vaccinated and spayed. She tested negative for heartworm. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Mandy if it means she will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue to cover part of the cost of the veterinary care she has received.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy, a Union City American Staffordshire Terrier/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Shar Pei for sale in Union City, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Shar Pei breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
