Patty's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Patty's Story...

Patty is an adorable 5-6 yr old female boxer.  She is very petite.  She is full of energy and enjoys getting out to run and play.

She does well around other dogs, but would be best suited to a home where there is a male companion dog or where she is an only dog. Patty does not like cats.  She would be a good snuggle bug for anyone who loves a boxer that cuddles.

Patty is good with kids and adults.  She can be shy at first but comes around very quickly.  She is housetrained and does well on a leash.

If you think you might like to adopt Patty or one of our other dogs, YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION at It does not commit you to adopting.

Every dog adopted out by MTBR must be an inside dog. There are no exceptions!

DISCLAIMER: Dogs have been observed while in the rescue program, and appear to be of stable temperament. However, it is not possible to test dogs under all circumstances, so caution should be used in new environments, especially involving young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patty, a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
