Prissy's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, and good with kids.

Prissy's Story...

Prissy is a 9 1/2 year old very nice senior girl. She was returned to MTBR through no fault of her own. She is very sweet and calm.

Prissy is well mannered and deserves to live out the rest of her days in a loving home that will care for her as she ages. She does well with kids, is quiet and calm. She would probably do well with a quiet male, but does not like a lot of hyper activity around her.

If you think you might like to adopt Prissy or one of our other dogs, please visit our website at www.mtbr.org and fill out an online application; it does not commit you to adopting.

Every dog adopted out by MTBR must be an inside dog. There are no exceptions!

DISCLAIMER: Dogs have been observed while in the rescue program, and appear to be of stable temperament. However, it is not possible to test dogs under all circumstances, so caution should be used in new environments, especially involving young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prissy, a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
