zCL: Charlie's Story...

This dog is being listed as a courtesy to the owner/foster, and is not a Middle TN Boxer Rescue dog. MTBR assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information herein. A potential adopter should satisfy him/herself that the dog is suitable for adoption into the home. Please do not contact MTBR for further information about this dog, as we have none other than as provided below. Contact the person at the bottom of the listing.

This handsome fellow is Charlie the Boxer. He's around 60 lbs, 3 1/2 years old, vaccinated, and neutered. He is great on a leash, knows 'sit' and 'paw', and ok with other dogs as long as they arent dominant. He is even doing alright with my cats, although i wouldnt leave them alone together. He would do best in a home with kids over 15 as he is standoffish when meeting new people and I wouldn't feel comfortable with him going to a place with young kids who don't read his signs. If interested in adopting or fostering Charlie, email Sarah Kinley at pigsandrats80@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

zCL: Charlie, a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
