Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Max's Story...

Max is an approximately 7-8 yr old bundle of fun and energy!  This super sweet boy likes to have fun and give kisses!  He also "howls" for his cookies and it has earned him the nickname "Cookie Monster" with the group.

Max likes to be with his people, but does okay in a crate.  He does well on leash.  He can jump a 4 ft fence, but should be okay with a larger privacy fence and on leash walks.

Max enjoys being around all people and most certainly children.  He is housebroken. He's okay with cats and most other dogs. He would make a wonderful addition to most any family.

If you think you might like to adopt Max or one of our other dogs, YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION at www.mtbr.org. It does not commit you to adopting.

Every dog adopted out by MTBR must be an inside dog. There are no exceptions!

DISCLAIMER: Dogs have been observed while in the rescue program, and appear to be of stable temperament. However, it is not possible to test dogs under all circumstances, so caution should be used in new environments, especially involving young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
