Annie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Annie's Story...

Annie is a beautiful brindle female boxer who is approximately 18 months old.

Annie is spirited and fun loving!  She LOVES being with other dogs, and she needs a home with a friend or two!  However, Annie is not fond of cats, so we would suggest a "cat-free" home for her.

Annie has lots of energy, and she needs a home with a fenced in yard. Annie is able to clear a 4ft fence, so a home with a privacy or taller fence would be best.  An active family who she can be with often, would be her most favorite!  She likes to be with her people, and she enjoys her cuddle time.

All-in-all....Annie has a wonderful personality.  She just needs companionship.  She is great with children of all ages and both men and women.

If you think you might like to adopt Annie or one of our other dogs, YOU MUST FILL OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION at www.mtbr.org. It does not commit you to adopting.  Every dog adopted out by MTBR must be an inside dog. There are no exceptions!

DISCLAIMER: Dogs have been observed while in the rescue program, and appear to be of stable temperament. However, it is not possible to test dogs under all circumstances, so caution should be used in new environments, especially involving young children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
