Hurricane  **Housetrained** Boxer - Adult - Male - Large Carroll County Humane Society McKenzie, TN ABOUT HURRICANE:   This is one beautiful fatty mcfatty dog. :) Hurricane and his best friend Foo-Foo were owner surrenders when their mom moved and the dogs were left with grandma who could no longer care for them. Hurricane is a really terrific dog - nice manners, is NOT a jumper, good on a leash, likes to ride in a car, and is a mellow 'lay at your feet' kind of boy. He is 77 pounds and could stand to drop a pound or two, but he will be a big guy. He is 5.5 years old and please don't let his age deter you. He has a lot of good years left and he is such a gentle and sweet guy that he will make someone a wonderful pet. Hurricane is good with other dogs, has been around outside cats, and kids. He is heartworm negative, current on his vaccines, and has been neutered!
Please contact Lisa at (731) 499-0739 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hercules (courtesy listing), a Brentwood Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Brentwood, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Brentwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brentwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brentwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brentwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
