Guinevere's Story...

Guinevere is a quiet, little girl waiting patiently for her forever home.  She is very sweet and gentle and loving.  She is a shy girl and finds the noisy shelter a bit scary.  She would love to go to a quiet, loving home where she could flourish and share her love and purrs with you.

The adoption fee is $85, includes neuter, 2 rounds of fcrvp, dewormer, rabies, a combo test and a chip.  For more information contact arnokitty @yahoo.com or come by ARNO's no kill shelter between the hours of 3-7.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinevere, a New Orleans Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in New Orleans, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in New Orleans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Orleans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Orleans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Orleans paves the way for another one to be saved.
