Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Louie's Story...

Louie is about 2.5 yrs old and weighs 40lbs. He is a total clown and full of personality and spunk. He would do best in a home with school age or older children as he loves to play and fetch and hang out and do whatever the humans are doing.  Louie is dog friendly with both genders, all ages and sizes.  He is a bit intimidated by cats as he only recently met his first one.  He would probably do just fine with a cat that is dog friendly.  Louie loves all people and is friendly with everyone he meets.  He is crate and housetrained; walks great on a leash and listens really well. He can be left alone as needed and does not suffer from any separation anxiety. Louie is very smart and understands almost anything you say to him very quickly. He is an absolutely awesome dog and deserves an equally awesome family who will spend lots of quality time with him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a San Antonio Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
