Here's what the humans have to say about me:
To MEET Penny - fill out an application. Cut and paste this link into your web browser: www.welcomehomedogrescue.org/adoption/application-to-adopt-a-companion/
Weight: 22 lbs
Age: 2 years old
Personality: Shy at first but she warms up quickly. Penny loves to play and is very affectionate.
Coat: can be very long, but we keep it short for easy maintenance. Her coat is super soft.
Training: She know how sit on command. She will learn quickly with positive reward-based training methods.
Potty trained: Yes. She likes to do her business outside only.
Health: Penny is very healthy. Full vet exam and no known health issues.
History: We rescued her from the shelter in Korea. Mixed breed dogs have an almost impossible time getting adopted in Korea, as they prefer purebred dogs. A volunteer brought Penny to California so she can find a forever home.
Fostered in: Seal Beach
Type of home: She will be good with any type of home.
Crate trained: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown
Adoption fee (non-refundable): $300
All dogs are fully vetted, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations.
Our adoption process looks like this:
1. Adoption application review by WHDR board
2. Adoption application approval
3. Meet and greet
4. Home safety check
5. Final approval and adoption finalized
Our volunteers, donors and adopters mean the world to us! Without you, we couldn't do what we do - saving the lives of abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and providing them with a loving forever home.
