NOW NAMED JAGER
My name is Oscar and my birthday is June 1, 2007....I weigh 18 lbs and am so thankful just to be alive to tell my story.
I was with a family my whole life and then everything turned upside down earlier this year when our home in northern Ohio burnt down. I was able to escape but I am not sure what happened to my family as I was taken to my vet to stay until they decided what to do with me. Lucky for me too was that not only did they contact Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati who said they would love to foster me....someone from the vet's office drove me all the way to Cincinnati to be sure I was safe!
I have been living in a foster home with four other Schnauzer boys. My foster mom had me made u-t-d on all shots and my teeth cleaned....otherwise, the doctor said I am in great health!
She has had me a couple months but only now decided to post me because I am very cautious and afraid of loud noises and steps and she wanted to build my confidence up before she put me online.
I do play with toys now and have started to run and play in the yard with the other dogs. I love to ride in the car and am a very quiet guy. I think I would do best in a forever home that just wants a fur kid to be their best friend. I hope to have a fenced yard so that if something scares me, I will still be safe. I am micro-chipped.
She thinks I might be a Schnoodle because my fur is kinda curly - but that is a great mix - because I do not shed and that make me a great choice for anyone with allergies!!
Mom just lit the fireplace last evening since the weather is cooler and noticed that I was not afraid of the flames which she thought I might be.
