Snickers's Story...
Snickers is really a sweet approx. 9 year old dog. Shy and timid but getting more confident. She is easy to be around and funny. She even gets along with our three cats. Not sure about other dogs-not really interested in other dogs at the dog park pretty unsocial but doesn’t reactive negatively either-kind of scared of them.
She loves to go for a walk around the park. She is pee-pad trained.
Snickers needs to be with a family with older children (approx. 8 years old +).

Please note that in most cases, breed(s) listed is our best guess.
Date available for adoption: Immediate

Adoption Fee: $250.00 (includes Up-to-Date on Vaccinations, De-worming, Spay/Neuter, and micro-chipping.).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Regina Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Regina, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Regina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Regina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Regina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Regina paves the way for another one to be saved.
