Fidel's Story...
Fidel is three years old. Neutered, male, 40 lbs. Collie and golden retriever mix. Up to date on shots. Good with kids and dogs. Not good with cats.

Fidel is a beautiful Collie Golden retriever mix. He is three years old and because of his playful and friendly nature we have nicknamed him Olaf our little snowman. He is a beauty inside and out. He loves dogs and people. He is great at playing fetch. He loves going for walks and hikes and adventures. But is old enough to also snuggle by the fire. He is healthy and happy. He was found abandoned in Athens and has been waiting for a family for nearly two years. He arrives soon to Toronto and we hope his perfect family is waiting for him upon his arrival. Please contact us for more pictures and information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fidel, a Toronto Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
