Peanut (Petsmart Everett)'s Story...
We are Peanut and Pecan.........a couple of real cuties. We are approx. 6 months old. We were rescued from the streets of Boston and brought to the good people at Happy Tails Pet Rescue so they could find us loving and forever homes. We are a bonded pair so we must be adopted together. We love each other so staying together is very important. We are spayed/neutered and up to date with all of our vaccinations.

If you are interested in meeting us, please go to our website www.happytailspetrescue.org and fill out our adoption application. Once this is done, one of our volunteers will be more than happy to contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to meet you soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut (Petsmart Everett), a Somerville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Somerville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Somerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
