CLETUS's Story...
My name is Cletus and I am an 8 month old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, but we can't help but see some Dachshund in my front legs! Either way I am adorable and loving and I would love to be in my forever home and never have to worry about being left in the shelter again!! I weigh about 12 pounds right now and won't be much bigger when I am done growing, maybe just a pound or two. I get along with other dogs, but I have not been around cats, so I am not sure how I would be with them. Everyone thinks I would be just fine since I am such a loverboy. If you fall in love with all my handsomeness, my glamorous blue eye and think we could be together forever, please contact Critter Cavalry right away! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CLETUS, a Salem Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Salem, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
