My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia’s adoption fee is $250.

This darling little girl is a 10 year old, 14 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix. She’s been recently spayed, had ALL her teeth removed, she’s up-to-date on her vaccinations and is micro chipped. Mia wants to constantly be around her person(s) - she’s a wonderful little companion and she loves being on your lap or picked-up for cuddles. She’s
a really good little walker and likes to walk at a good pace. Mia enjoys going in the car (she sits in the back with her seat beat on so she can’t spring into the front seat or fall onto the backseat floor). Overall, she’s a quiet little girl but can be uneasy meeting strange dogs, especially larger dogs. Mia is good with other small dogs and cats , but has demonstrated a will to be top dog which is addressed with a firm “no Mia” and she complies.

Mia would be best suited to a home where someone can spend a lot of time with her; she thrives with human companionship and likes lots of attention. She would probably enjoy another gentle small dog or cat as company as she loves to play chase with my male Shih Tzu and male cat. She would probably be best for a person in a single dwelling home with easy access to a secure yard as she can squeeze through small spaces. Here, Mia has never been left entirely alone (there’s usually 1 person around and she always has the company of 2 small dogs and a cat). She has never indicated when she has to go out to potty, but she’s taken out at least every couple of hours and always goes when put outside.

Mia is a precious little girl, who wants nothing more than a forever best friend who will be able to spend lots of time with her, take her places and have room for her at night in their bed. Once you meet her, you will fall in love.
