*Ivan*'s Story...
Adopt a kitten (or two!) from the Free Roamers!

This little guy (at least we THINK he's a boy), Ivan and his sister Addy were rescued on Sept. 24 by someone who found the pair in an open field. No mom or other siblings ever found.
These two were so young they needed to be bottle-fed. But they are now old enough to be adopted. Ivan and Addy will be sterilized. vaccinated and microchipped next week and ready to go to their forever home by 11/18. Ivan is curious, playful and a very happy kitten.

The foster mom has socialized this brother and sister very well--they have been around another adult cat and a lot of young grandchildren. The kittens love the old, mellow Golden Retriever, but are a bit frightened by the energetic beagle in the house.
Foster mom would like to see these two adopted together, if possible.

For more info about Ivan and his sister Addy, please call or text Julie @ 608.358.4615 or email us FreeRoamingFelineProgram@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Ivan*, a Manitowoc Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manitowoc, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manitowoc.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manitowoc already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manitowoc breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manitowoc paves the way for another one to be saved.
