My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is back from her training at the prison and is now a proud Prison Graduate. She has had extensive training the last few months in obedience, basic commands, proper leash walking, manners and house training. She is ready and waiting for her forever home. Please don't make her wait too long.

Introducing Ava. Ava is a beautiful one year old Boxer/Retriever mix. She was adopted from Friendship at 3 months old and now returned after being with the family for 9 months. Ava is a dog with lots of energy. Her family didn't work much on her training but she was excellent when going through training at the prison. She's super friendly but kids in the family should be older. Her previous family said did very well with her house-training and likes to ride in cars and play with toys. Ava is back and ready for action. Stop by today! Since being back Ava has gone to the nursing home to visit the seniors. She was very well behaved and a big hit with all the people there.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
