Casper's Story...
We picked Casper up when he was so young but his facial features are finally starting to mature as he approaches 4 months... though he is still such a young playful puppy. We are now realizing as he matures that we guessed his breed incorrectly. Meet Casper the POINTER mix (possible pointer/pit mix). He is starting to point with tail and paw and his face shape has elongated... he is a beautiful boy!
He likes to play but does play a bit rough so we recommend him for teenagers or adults only and only for homes that will continue his puppy training. He is a very smart boy who wil make a wonderful companion for many adventures. He lives in a foster home with big dogs and a cat. To meet him, fill out an adoption application: http://goo.gl/forms/bhpAEvFYTu

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Houston Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
