Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hershey is one big, handsome chocolate boy! He is about 3 years old and 60 pounds of muscle.
Hershey is an active boy who has not had much discipline or training in his life. He really wants to please and he craves attention. Hershey's foster parents are working with him to learn better manners, sit and kennel up. We are working on walking nicely on the leash, but it is hard to be good when there is so much to see & smell out in the world!
Hershey has lived most of his life as an outside dog, but he is adjusting quickly to the good life inside. A soft bed, dog cookies and good food are becoming his favorite things. Hershey is doing well with crate training and is already house broken. He gets along really well with other dogs, too.
Due to his size and energy level, Hershey will not be a good match for young kids. He would be great in a home with kids about 10 or 12 years and up. We are looking for a forever family who has experience with large dogs and will work with Hershey to continue his training.
Come visit Hershey at our next Meet & Greet. See our web site for complete information on location and hours. www.LoneStarLabRescue.org
