My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Laika!  She is approximately 6 years young and is an American Eskimo mix.  She is very sweet and playful.  She loves toys and would be so happy to have a basket full!  Laika loves people and would be a lap dog, probably bonding with one person strongly.  

Laika needs a seasoned dog person, primarily because of her anxiety.  She is nervous of walking on a leash, but has gotten much better over the past 3 weeks in her foster home.  Laika would do best with a fenced yard.  She has some anxiety with cats, but does fine around them.  She is agreeable with other dogs, but does have a strong personality and may get bossy over food and treats.  Laika would be great as the only dog.  Clearly there is something going on with her left eye.  FACE would pay for an opthamologist consult.
