Major Nelson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Major Nelson's Story...
Major Nelson came to us from North Carolina. He is about 50 lbs and 8 months old. Major Nelson is crate trained and pretty much house trained (though new situations can be a set back). He will sit for a treat and he likes to fetch. Nelson can be that laid back dog or he is ready to go for a jog, if that is what you want. We think he is chocolate lab mix, he was a stray, so anything is a guess. He definitly has the lab personality, happy go lucky. Nelson is neutered and micro chipped and up to date on his shots. He would love to find his forever home. Email us at Adoptme@itavar.com for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major Nelson, a Middletown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
