Sushi's Story...
Meet Sushi, a 4 1/2 - 5 month old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She and her littermate, Larissa, were surrendered to a shelter and that's where we got them from. Sushi and Larissa are almost identical except Sushi has a white stripe down her nose. She weighs about 25 pounds, is spayed and current on her shots. She keeps her crate clean most of the time. She does got outside to go potty so she will just need someone willing to continue working with her. Sushi is a very nice young dog and would make a great pet. She just needs someone to keep working with her. Her adoption fee is $200.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sushi, a Lake Orion Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Blue Heeler for sale in Lake Orion, or seeking a Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Lake Orion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Orion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Orion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Border Collie/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Orion paves the way for another one to be saved.
