My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a 4 lb puppy mill survivor with only three teeth left but still eats dry dog food. We think in his former existence all he did is eat, sleep and make babies. He just existed - he did not really have a life. He was so matted and dirty that he had to be shaved almost bald. It will be a little while before he has enough hair to be properly groomed. He is still trying to figure out what a house is and what it means to go outside to potty. He is trying to learn to LIVE. He loves soft beds and is learning that being petted is nice. He still is not sure about being held. He is learning what being a pet is all about. Toys and other dog related activities are a mystery to him. He needs someone who has a lot of patience and will give him lots of time (possibly months) for him to adopt to a new lifestyle. His age is estimated at 7.

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.
