My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kita is a 2 year old Border Collie mix. She was found by an APL staffer in a parking lot in Elyria. She took Kita home for the evening and found Kita to be a very nice girl. Kita's family was actually located but they no longer wanted her so now she is available for adoption. Kita is a sweet girl that enjoys playing with other dogs. She chases cats but does not hurt them. She's an active girl that likes people of all ages. Kita was crated when no one was home. Her finder said she was the perfect guest the evening Kita stayed with her. Kita would love a family where she is included in their activities. A fenced in yard would be a big plus. Border Collies always like to be where the action is and Kita is that kind of girl.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
