Malibu's Story...
Malibu is a smart girl she is 14 months old and sister to Floyd. She is a mostly lab mix, and has the temperament of a true Lab who is friendly to anyone, and hasn't met a stranger. She is potty trained and whines when she wants to use the bathroom, knows how to sit, lay, and fetch. She tries to be a lap dog, but is just as happy laying at your feet, in front of the fire place, and sleeping in a doggie bed close to you.
***Small rehoming fee of $50.00 (for heart worm test & start of heartworm prevention), and home visit required.

If you are interested in her go to our website www.furryfriendsofthefoothills.org, fill out an adoption application, and email it back to info@furryfriendsofthefoothills.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malibu, a Yadkinville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Yadkinville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Yadkinville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yadkinville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yadkinville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yadkinville paves the way for another one to be saved.
