Custard's Story...
Custard #3605 is an sweet 9-year-old male, Pomeranian mix. Custard is a typical Pomeranian who lives for affection! Custard is the perfect lap dog; he loves being held and he gives great kisses. He enjoys a good belly rub. He is house, kennel, and leash trained. He plays well with other dogs, cats, and children! He would make a great addition to any home. He just had a dental and has a great smile. He is full grown and weighs just under 15 pounds. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup;it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.orgwith questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Custard, a Waldorf Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
