My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COOPER checks all the boxes for people who want to add a furry member to their family, but want to skip the puppy antics. COOPER is potty trained and has free roam of the house while her foster parents are at work. This friendly girl has never met a stranger, but she isn't hyper or obnoxious. She spends most her days relaxing on the couch with her foster siblings. She lives with 2 labs, a mini dachshund, and a cat! She ignores cats and especially loves medium and large dogs. COOPER is affectionate, gentle, and an all around wonderful girl. She is an excellent car passenger and knows not to chew on things that don't belong to her. You can't go wrong with this 6 year old sweetheart!!!

COOPER is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $300 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
