Marty was rescued from a sad situation - but is loving his first time living with a family! He was born sometime around January 2015. Marty is energetic and loves to play and go on walks!
Marty has a favorite toy that he loves to fetch! He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows how to sit. He is learning how to stay, walk nicely on a leash, and to play well with other dogs. He doesn’t chew on furniture or shoes.
This is Marty’s first time to live with a family that takes care of him so he’s not been exposed to children or cats. He likes playing with other dogs, but can play too roughly, so he is being taught boundaries and is learning quickly. Marty is a sweet lovebug who needs a patient and caring family who can enjoy his fun loving and affectionate spirit!
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $225.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Marty is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
