My story

This totally handsome three year old chocolate dapple is our Buttons Braunschweiger. Buttons and his brother Chip became DREAM Dachsies when sadly, their owner had a change of employment, requiring longer hours, plus a move to an apartment, creating a less than ideal situation for the boys. He is 14 lbs, and is pretty much a lap dog. He loves to snuggle, is crate trained and great on a leash. He is learning to use the doggie door, so for now I just put him outside frequently to prevent accidents and any marking. Buttons is very laid back and loving. He would do best with other dogs that are calm and gentle natured, although he is starting to think more about playing! He is simply a beautiful, healthy dog.
