BIjou's Story...
Bijou (dark blue collar) is the second boy of a group of three newborns that a good samaritan found in her backyard with their eyes still closed. She called St. Francis for help. We had just taken in Super Mom Ruby with her five newborns and asked this amazing mamma cat to take on these three little orphans. Ruby did not hesitate to take in Bijou and his two siblings. Bijou has beautiful markings and an adorable personality. He loves to play then snuggle in a lap for a well deserved rest. As a young kitten, Beryl is very active and will do best with a family with other fur babies, his mom Ruby or one of his foster siblings. Young kittens learn from other fur babies how be good little babies. Vets and fosters of kittens will agree, babies do best in bonded pairs! He would make a wonderful addition to any home who is looking to give him a forever family! Please email me for more information on Bijou, Ruby or any of his foster brothers and sisters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BIjou, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
