My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a super nice, easy going young adult. She is about 4 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is fairly short and stocky but not overweight. This mellow girl is great on leash and knows how to chill out at the coffee shop after a leisurely walk. Poppy would make a great companion for anyone who doesn't want to have to put too much time and energy into training a dog. She is super well-mannered, crate, and house trained.

Poppy like a fair bit of personal space and is fine with dogs that let her have it. And those who respect her when she says "back off" in dog speak. She has been out in the play yard with larger puppies who initially annoyed her but then left her alone when she asked.

We haven't seen Poppy around kids so we can't say for sure how she would be. She is gentle with everyone she has encountered although she wasn't too thrilled with the person trying to put medicine in her ears the other day.
