CHLOE's Story...
We first met Chloe though her picture on Facebook. The volunteer group, Memphis Pets Alive photographed her during their weekly trip to the high kill Memphis Animal Services (MAS). Her expressive eyes and cocked head just drew us in and we went the next day to meet her. Sadly, the day we met her was also the same day she was to be put down. We knew we couldn't let that happen, so we took her out in the yard, tested her with other dogs and young children and she did excellently with both. So if you are looking for an affectionate, intelligent dog, look no further than Chloe. Her adoption fee is $450 and will include her spay surgery, her vaccinations (up to date on annual boosters including her 6 month proheart infection), microchip, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area. Please contact us for an adoption application and to learn more about Chloe!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHLOE, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
