Teddy's Story...
Hi there! The name is Teddy, but most people just call me Ted. I am handsome beagle boy between 5 and 7 years old. My foster mom says I have a wonderful disposition. I absolutely LOVE my humans and like to be wherever they are. But do not worry, I am not needy. I am just loving! I am friendly with kids and enjoy all of the people in my life. I love to greet my foster family at the door when they arrive home. I am a happy face, and my tail is always wagging. I am good with other dogs as long as they are not too pushy with me. I am pretty easy going and would love to join a family where I could be part of their adventures. I just want to find a loving, forever home. Could that home be yours? If you think I would be a good match for your family, please fill out an application at Then, you can find out how to meet me! You will not be disappointed! My adoption fee is $200. For this, you get ME, who is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. If you have questions about me or the adoption process, please visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Hammond Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Hammond, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Hammond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hammond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hammond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hammond paves the way for another one to be saved.
