Bayou's Story...
PLEASE VIEW THE VIDEO TO SEE BAYOU'S ENERGY LEVEL AND HIS INTERACTION WITH THE OTHER DOGS IN OUR RESCUE. Bayou is a one-year old healthy, friendly, playful pup. He is currently 50 lbs and we believe he is fully grown. This dog is very social, preferring human companionship to nearly anything else. He loves going for long walks, and adores trotting next to his foster mom - leashed- while she bike rides. Bayou has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bayou, a Weeki Wachee Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
