Loki is my name, smiling is my game. Loki is a 45 pound boy, approximately 3-4 years old, who captured our hearts by how happy he was even living in the shelter. Our best guess for this guy’s breed is a Basset Hound/Rottweiler mix. He is a low to medium energy level boy who enjoys a few naps and also a brief session or two of hard playtime with our 3-woof woofs of various sizes and weights. Maybe you are looking for a friend to take short walks with? Loki is your guy!

Very few can resist this smiling face, the large black spots on his tong, or these adorable short legs. He loves to chew on ropes and heavy-duty toys, that is, if he isn’t napping or playing with his friends. He also loves children of all ages, but he lacks the judgment of his size if he becomes too excited. He appears to do fine with my cat, his crate, and he also travels well without becoming carsick.

Loki is currently located in Athens, AL, and he’d love to meet you. His foster mom is unwilling to claim he’s 100% housebroke, but she is willing to give him a 95% stamp of approval with training currently in progress.
