My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello - my name is Tia, but my foster dad calls me Sgt. Pepper, he says it's all about the attitude and my super-cool, gruff voice. I am an 8 year old Chihuahua and I am spayed and up to date on all my shots. My first couple of days outside of the shelter in my new foster home, I was scared and only wanted to sit on my foster mom's lap. But now that I know that people are so awesome, I LOVE to play catch, play tug-o-war, play with my Chihuahua foster sisters, and of course, just lay on my foster mom's lap and be loved. I love to play, but I am very well mannered inside.

I am potty trained, I sit very pretty on command, I take food from your hand very nicely, and I am crate-trained, though my human foster sisters tend to sneak me into their room at night and I cuddle up with them all night long. I am afraid of the vacuum, the blender, and the coffee grinder, so I bark at them, but my foster mommy is showing me that they won't hurt me and that everything is okay. I get along well with other little dogs, but I am scared of big dogs so I put on my tough face and growl and bark. My foster mom says they are nice dogs, too, so I'm trying hard to be nicer to big dogs. I am completely sweet and loving and only want a forever home to call my own, even though my current foster family said they wouldn't mind one bit if I was a permanent foster, whatever that means. If you would love me as much as I love everyone I meet - please call or text my foster mom, Tara at 775-513-0680. I do have an adoption fee.
