found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Freddie was found crying for help in January this year on a doorstep. He was taken in and rushed to the Vets with a gaping, raw wound on his neck. Upon examination, it was thought that it was an old injury that had abscessed and then exploded. He must have been in tremendous pain. He also had a few other injuries. Throughout the exam he purred, head-butted everyone who came close, he knew he had been rescued and was just so happy to be safe.
He won the heart of his foster Mum, who has never been fond of cats, but she took him in because she was the one whose doorstep he landed on. It has been a learning experience for both of them. Foster Mum has dogs and Freddie does not do well with them so he lives in a separate room. When he comes out of the room all he wants to do is snuggle and be a lap cat.
He has been learning to play nicely. Sometimes he gets a bit excited and gives little love bites. With this in mind we would suggest an adult home or older teenagers who understand not to overwhelm him.
Freddie is about 5 years old. All his injuries healed wonderfully, he has now been neutered, shots are up to date and de-wormed. Freddie has tested positive for FIV. This means that his immune system is not as strong as it could be. It should not affect his health in any way but he must be an indoor only cat. He has not reacted well to other cats either so it may be necessary that Freddie be the only King of the castle. Freddie is a wonderful cat, full of personality just hoping his forever, indoor only home is waiting for him.
