Born in August 2014, Austin is a male Chihuahua mix who had a rough start in his young life.
Austin is a 1 year old chihuahua mix who was rescued by Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue from the animal shelter when he was diagnosed with the heart condition known as Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA).
Our generous supporters enabled us to take Austin to WSU Veterinary for heart surgery.
He is now cured and a normal little dog getting to enjoy all the things hes never had the chance to do-run, play dog and interact with other dogs. He gets along so well with everyone he meets

This dog is currently in a foster home in Tri-Cities, WA.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
