NAME: Darlene
GENDER: Female (Spayed)

Introducing precious Darlene. Darlene is an adorable Chihuahua with a lot of love to share. She is super sweet and ready for a forever home.

Darlene came to us after a local breeder passed away. Darlene was just a puppy at the time, and her social skills were a little behind. Her time in a loving foster home has helped her come a long way. She is still a little shy when meeting new people but she loves to snuggle and cuddle once she gets to know you.

Darlene is a perfect 6.5 pounds.Darlene has a wonderful personality. She gets along great with the other Chihuahuas in her foster home and enjoys playing with them. She is fine with the cats. Darlene likes to go outside and play in the sun. She also loves to play with toys.

If you love to cuddle, you are going to love Darlene. Darlene loves being a couch potato and spending hours in your lap. She is a quiet girl that will put herself in a quiet spot when things around her get too overwhelming. Darlene will do best in a home with experienced dog people simply because of her lack of confidence with the world around her. She prefers to bond with one person and that person then becomes her world. She also will probably do best with another dog in the home, one that is confident, for her to look up to.

Darlene is very smart. She has fit in well at her foster home. She is mostly potty trained and she also has learned to use potty pads. Darlene is also crate trained, and gives you no problem when it is bed time! Although she loves to play, she rarely barks.

She gets along great with everyone once she gets to know you. She would probably do best in an all adult home or a home with older children, due to her calm personality.

Darlene is such a beautiful little dog. Her personality and her beautiful eyes take your breath away. We know that she is going to be so loved in someone's home (and we are betting she will get adopted soon!). If you are looking for a perfect little girl to add to your family - Darlene is a great choice. Darlene really wants a home of her own as she has never had one. Please, if you think you can provide Darlene with the home of her dreams, she would love you endlessly!!!

Darlene is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
