Felix's Story...
As you can tell from the picture, Felix LOVES the water! If you are looking for a water dog, here’s your boy! He is great with other dogs and loves people. We’ve had a lot of questions regarding his breed…and its hard to know. He may have some terrier in him, but he’s about 45 lbs and 8 months old, so he’s not rat terrier size but he’s not huge and should not get any bigger. He’s been neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Felix has a lot of fun to be around and does not meet a stranger.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Houston Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
