Cupid's Story...
Cupid is a beautiful terrier mixed male with a white Heart mark on his forehead who will make you fall in love once you set your eyes on him. He is smart, sweet, quiet, and a bit shy. He weighs just under 14 lbs. He is currently staying with his foster family in Korea, and will be coming to the Chicago area to look for his new permanent family in late November.
We do not have a lot of information on him, but we know he’s calm and kind, learning to be house trained, and fully vaccinated and healthy. He seems to be good with people and dogs, but has not been tested with cats and children. As he gets introduced to a new environment and especially a new country, he may become a bit wary of strangers (new mom/dad), so we are looking for someone who will patiently wait until he warms up to you and learns to trust you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupid, a Fairfax Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
