Nova's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Nova's Story...
Hi there! My name is Nova, and I am a beautiful, female English coonhound.
I am around 2 or 3 years old and weigh 50lbs, so I am a petite girl. I
seem to be okay with cats, and I do pretty well with most dogs. I can be a
bit unsure of other dogs, which makes me uneasy. However, once I
understand them and feel part of the pack, then I am happy to be with
them. One thing I am sure of is that I LOVE people. I am a HUGE snuggler
and will do anything to be close to my humans. I am very loving,
affectionate, and gentle. I am good in my crate and am housebroken. Want
to meet me yourself? Then, visit www.houndsong.com to fill out an
application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nova, a Hammond English (Redtick) Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English (Redtick) Coonhound for sale in Hammond, or seeking a English (Redtick) Coonhound dog from a breeder in Hammond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hammond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hammond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English (Redtick) Coonhound breeders who help with English (Redtick) Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hammond paves the way for another one to be saved.
