"Howdy, folks! My name is MOWGLI, and I'm a good-natured and friendly fellow who wants to love and entertain you. I'm just two years old, so I'll love to go on walks with you. I'm good at playing fetch (I prefer toys over tennis balls, please), and I'd need to have a good-sized yard in my new home. I appreciate pets and snuggles, and I'd want to have a doggie bed in the house so I can be part of the family. I'm quite well-trained, so I know "sit" and "lie down." I have a youthful exuberance, so I'd do best in a family that has older, bigger kids. I'd need to be the only dog in my new home. We've got a great play yard here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, so please come on over and spend some time with me as soon as possible. You'll see that I'm a super-cute, super-friendly boy. I miss having a home where I can be loved and snuggled, so I hope to see you soon. Love, Mowgli"
